A lively nose ofcaramel,orange zest,cedar, andclovemove to a powerful palate ofchocolate,root beer,cardamom, andtobacco.Our 7 year release of Vertical Series Rye is paired withTiz Rye Time, son of Tiznowout and Shanon Nicole, by Majestic Warrior.Bourbon Lane purchased him from his breeder, Sierra Farm, for $200,000 at the Fasig Tipton October sale. He was a farm favorite and his dam has since been bred to the leading sire Into Mischief, Quality Road and Uncle Mo, some of the those who standing in KY. He was well balanced, athletic and just had that look about him of class. He broke his maiden in his second start and has earned KY Derby points but unfortunately was sidelined with an injury.
